Recently Deakin’s server had become sluggish and this was hindering their operations, especially when using the essential MYOB Exo application for admin and finance tasks. The team at Devine Technology immediately knew what was required to transform Deakin’s business, recommending a state-of-the-art upgrade to get things humming again.

Deakin Trucks General Manager, Scott MacLean explains:

“We’ve been with Devine Technology for well over a decade and in that time they’ve served us for all things technology. Initially we needed a lot of help interfacing overseas equipment with our internal systems so both Phil and Chris took the time to understand our requirements and from there things became a lot smoother for us. In the following years Phil trained up other Devine staff to cater for our needs, which has been brilliant. More recently, our old server was well past it. Devine Technology had kept it ticking along but we needed more speed, better quality graphics systems and just more for our overall admin, especially when generating reports.”

Scott notes:

“The transition of migrating our old server to the new server was a painless process. Devine Technology had remote access to our existing system and set up 99.9% of the new server from their offices. Then it was simply a case of bringing in the new hardware, sitting it side-by-side with the old, and switching it over. There were only a few minor rough spots to iron out but on the whole it really was smooth sailing and operational disruption was kept to an absolute minimum.”
