Napier Boys’ High School’s Scinde House boarding hostel had been using a legacy payroll system to process wages for their 40+ staff. They were getting ready to move to Xero Payroll, in order to be more in sync with the hostel’s accounting system, which had also moved to Xero.
At the eleventh hour another IT provider pulled out of facilitating the migration. So having previously worked successfully with Jacqui from Devine Technology on Hawke’s Bay Holt Planetarium’s Xero general ledger, Devine was the first and only call for Scinde House Finance Manager, Michael Jones.
“We were using Greentree for payroll and had decided to switch to Xero for synchronicity with our main accounting system, and because we wanted to move things into the cloud, have all our accounting and payroll in one place, on the one platform, and with one capable IT provider for ongoing payroll support. When another IT provider pulled out, Devine stepped in and saved the day.”
